This instrument offers extensive testing capabilities for comparing filler and pigment structures, specifically evaluating their abrasive effects on the paper machine wire screen. The design includes a dual-display digital preset revolution controller and a complete Plexiglas filler jar.
Operationally, a standard round test screen is abraded in a watery suspension of the material being tested. This is achieved via the slide friction load of a standard rotary abrader (Base with PVC covers) under a strictly defined load.
After the programmed number of standard revolutions, the machine determines the weight loss to the standard test screen (comparison of initial and final weight). This measured weight loss (mg) serves as the definitive comparison value for the wear effect of the tested material.

- Based on the exact principles defined in Zell Chemig notice sheet V/27.5/75 (as per Einlehner abrasion tester specifications).
- Designed to replicate original German technical specifications for precision.
- Optimal submerged accuracy via a narrower gap between the impeller shaft and the bottom.
